Data and Editorial Policy
How opportunities and news are sourced, checked, corrected and promoted.
Official evidence and source rights
We prioritise university, government, organiser and funder primary sources. Directories can help discovery but are not the sole evidence for a deadline, eligibility rule or funding amount. Records include an official link and the date the source was checked.
Public access is not the same as an open licence. We write original summaries and avoid copying full advertisements, papers, news articles or databases. Images, logos and substantial extracts require suitable rights or permission. Source rights and notices are considered before reuse. Free applicant browsing does not mean the catalogue is licensed for bulk redistribution.
Publication and funding labels
The scholarship pilot covers a growing selection of undergraduate and postgraduate awards. It does not claim all-university coverage. Scholarships, means-tested bursaries, grants, fee reductions and repayable loans are distinguished. Award and admission deadlines are recorded separately where available. Public award records require separate review; imports alone never approve publication.
A listing passes source, UK scope, date and publication checks before appearing publicly. Held or disputed records do not count as verified public opportunities. An unannounced recurring cycle is labelled unconfirmed, rather than assigned a deadline inferred from a previous year.
Fee coverage, living support, nationality or fee-status restrictions and deadlines are separate checks. “Not confirmed” means evidence is missing or unclear; “not covered” means published terms exclude that cost. Topic overlap does not prove entry eligibility, funding entitlement or supervision availability.
Review and correction
Scholarship records are hidden from public discovery when their source review exceeds seven days, or one day where a deadline is within three days, and when recorded closing dates pass. Future and unresolved awards remain private. These controls do not replace checking the official current instructions.
Review priorities are daily for postdoctoral notices, within three days for PhD notices and within seven days for research Master’s notices. These are operating targets, not a claim that every record has already been rechecked. A checked date records an actual source review, not an automatically refreshed timestamp.
We investigate reported errors, update confirmed changes and hold or remove closed, stale or conflicting notices. Send the listing URL, official source and disputed detail to info@lurnable.com. Institutions remain responsible for their application instructions and decisions.
Research news, guidance and assisted operations
Research news links to the original official source, identifies the institution and publication date, and uses an original summary. The latest-news selection is intended to remain within a 14-day freshness window. Claims about a study should reflect its evidence and limitations.
Automated and AI-assisted tools help discovery, drafting, checks and operational reporting. Publication still requires evidence and the relevant review controls. Reports distinguish a scheduled task from a completed run, an email accepted by a provider from a reply, and a business target from a measured result. We do not use profiles to make admissions decisions.
Paid placements and independence
Paid listings and campaigns are labelled Sponsored and remain subject to source and accuracy checks. Payment does not establish a university endorsement of Linkuble, change entry criteria or improve a topic relevance score. Commercial reporting states what was actually measured and its limits.
Applicant workspaces are private. We do not sell profiles, saved opportunities or contact details to advertisers. A university receives an application only through its own route or a separate action the applicant chooses.
Copyright, accuracy and security concerns
Use Complaints and Corrections to report inaccurate information, suspected misuse or a rights concern. Give enough information to identify the material and the issue; do not send unnecessary personal or confidential documents. Suspected security vulnerabilities should be emailed privately without exploiting them or accessing other users’ data.
